For a long time, the healthcare industry was relegated to the pharmaceutical space. It has been noted that the large domestic companies and pharmaceutical businesses have been doing good business and earning a good profit. But, the delivery side of the industry has been largely ignored and because of it, has become very fragmented and disorganized.

But slowly, the investors are realising the huge opportunities and significant return on the investment, and due to which the Indian healthcare market is one of the fastest growing market worldwide. And with the positive incentives that the sector is offering, private equity funds are also eager to make their surge towards the healthcare sector. 
 
There are many reports and experts that have stated that a need for the growth capital in India, for the healthcare start-ups can speed the amount of transactions in the healthcare area. Also, with new and finer technology emerging so often, it is also playing an important role for the future of investment in healthcare. The availability of information and extra focus on the patients themselves will also be great for investors.
